What are the economics of cybersecurity research data-sharing? The University of Tulsa was awarded $200K to look into it. The award was made by The Cyber Risks Economic Project (CyRiE) of the Cyber Security Division. They will be studying data production and usage by researchers. They hope to facilitate enhanced data-sharing among cybersecurity researchers, which will “enable researchers to better quantify risks and identify new cyber-defenses”.
