As a HackerOne CSM, you will work with our customers to launch and run successful bug bounty programs while looking for opportunities to expand HackerOne capabilities.

Role

Reporting to the VP of Marketing and based in San Francisco, the Director of Demand Generation will be tasked with the primary goal of creating pipeline growth and optimizing the marketing funnel performance in 2017. You should have strong experience executing successful lead generation programs in a B2B technology environment, ideally within a SaaS-based company. The Director of Product Marketing owns the vision, strategy and execution of Product Marketing at HackerOne. As part of the Marketing team, you’ll drive the go-to-market strategy and spearhead the promotion of new Saas products and updates as well as existing products. Responsibilities

  • Build, mentor, and empower the HackerOne Product Marketing team
  • Identify ideal customer profiles and verticals through qualitative and quantitative customer research
  • Develop deep expertise and insights about our customers and the human capital management space through analysis and research and use these insights to shape our product adoption and acquisition strategy
  • Partner with our Content Strategy team in the creation of product collateral, including thought leadership assets, website content, case studies, one sheets, product previews and presentations to support outbound communication, demand generation, and sales efforts
  • Be the trusted voice of the customer internally by gathering and surfacing insights that shape our strategy and product development roadmap
  • Review competitive offerings to drive ongoing differentiation and inform product development efforts
  • Be a strategic partner to the sales organization, helping define and communicate our value proposition and competitive positioning to prospective customers
  • Utilize your analytical skills to craft measurable, manageable marketing programs with the content you produce
  • Help create content for internal product education

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree required
  • 5+ years in product marketing, marketing for a high-tech company
  • An influencer that can work well with various groups and levels of the organization
  • A multi-role player, having demonstrated aptitude and success in a several marketing disciplines including marketing strategy formulation, project planning/execution, messaging, copywriting and collateral development, and oral presentation.
  • Ability to work across functional areas (Sales, Marketing and Product); You are a master of project management and coordination and capable of keeping track of tight deadlines with lots of moving parts.
