Verizon Media's Chris Holt on Why Bug Product: Bounty Programs Work

February 12, 2019

Verizon Media's Chris Holt sat down with us at h1-212 2018 and discussed the benefits of choosing hacker-powered security. “There’s a lot of reason why we use bug bounty. Bug bounty is the outside world looking in. We have adversaries out on the internet and we also have friends out on the internet. Bug bounty is a way that we can connect with all those friends and grow that group by incentivizing them to work with us.” “HackerOne provides a lot of features as a platform for hosting a bug bounty program. There’s no excuse for a high bar for entry. I think every company should find a way to run a program.” ◇ Check out the recap blog for more highlights: https://www.hackerone.com/blog/Oaths-Big-Year-Bug-Bounties-Capped-NYC-Live-Hacking-Event ▼ Keep up with us ▼ ◇ Twitter → https://twitter.com/Hacker0x01 ◇ Instagram → https://www.instagram.com/Hacker0x01/ ◇ LinkedIn → https://www.linkedin.com/company/HackerOne ◇ Facebook → https://www.facebook.com/Hacker0x01/
