European Union Open Source Bug Bounty Programme Customer Story
In the aftermath of the Heartbleed incident, The European Union launched EU-FOSSA to take a proactive stance to strengthen the security of the key open source infrastructure it uses. They recently expanded the program with EU-FOSSA 2.
Explaining the rationale for the expansion of the initiative, project leaders Marek Przybyszewski and Saranjit Arora explained “As an enthusiastic user of Free and Open Source Software, the EU has a responsibility to ensure the FOSS it uses is safe.”
