HackerOne ID Verification & Clear are programs for hackers who have undergone relevant levels of vetting and have exemplary performance, both on HackerOne's platform and off.
 

Qualification: 

We have just updated our Clear qualification thresholds! Our goal was to simplify and help expand this opportunity to more of our hacker community. Please take a look below to see if you qualify!

To be eligible to apply for HackerOne ID Verification, you must meet the following criteria:

• Have submitted a valid report

Once you meet this criteria, you can complete the following HackerOne ID Verification requirements within our platform:

• Have exemplary platform performance and professionalism - agree to our Rules of Engagement

• Pass an ID Verification, through a separate third party vendor.

To be eligible to apply for HackerOne Clear, you must meet the following criteria:

• Be ID verified, completing all of the steps listed above;

• Be 18 or over; and

• Meet a minimum: 

  • Lifetime Signal: 4
  • Lifetime Impact: 15
  • Lifetime Bounty: $15,000

Once you meet this criteria, you can complete the following HackerOne Clear requirements within our platform:

• Pass a Background Check, though a third party vendor.

These individualized thresholds are structured to reward both recent activity and lifetime platform achievements.

Not on the HackerOne Platform?

That's okay! We are looking for hackers that have medium to expert proficiency with the following:

• Experience as a pentester
• Embedded Hardware, Automotive, or IoT hacking experience
• An active government clearance
• Testing cloud configurations (GCP, AWS, Azure, etc.)
• Hacking Desktop Applications
• ICS/SCADA
• Mobile

Once you have completed the application, a member of HackerOne's team will reach out to you directly with a response and next steps, if applicable.
