    Position Summary

    At HackerOne, we take investment in in-person events seriously. Our events mix comprises a critical piece of our strategy to drive awareness and demand for HackerOne’s offerings. As Senior Corporate Events Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in end-to-end event management, from strategy to planning and execution to ROI analysis and optimization, to help us reach our awareness, demand, retention, and revenue goals. 

    Your primary responsibility will be to lead end-to-end event management for HackerOne's most strategic Tier 1 sponsored events, such as RSA and Black Hat, as well as our key HackerOne-led event series, including our Security@ roadshow.     What You Will Do

    • Event Strategy and Planning:

      • Lead the planning and execution of 4-6 major tradeshows & conferences annually, including strategy development, customer, partner, & internal stakeholder coordination, event logistics, staffing, budget management, content/speaker agendas, partner sponsorships, and onsite management, pre- and post-event communications, meeting setting logistics, and post-event ROI analysis.

      • Lead HackerOne’s signature Security@ regional conference program; working closely with regional marketing teams to define OKRs, venue sourcing, vendor selection, vendor relations, and event logistics; and owning strategy, branding, content / agenda planning, internal and external communications, partner sponsorships, speaker selection and confirmation, event attendee recruitment, on site execution, pre- and post-event comms, follow up, and ROI analysis.

      • Own the conference circuit speaking strategy, partnering with subject matter experts across the organization and at client and partner organizations to develop engaging content that drives event attendance and engagement.

      • Manage HackerOne’s calendar of events, working closely with regional marketing and other stakeholders to gather relevant information and share in a consistent, easy to consume way.

      • Coordinate with marketing, community, and sales teams to ensure alignment of event strategies with corporate objectives.

      • Oversee event budget allocation and resource management to ensure effective utilization of resources.

    • Stakeholder Engagement and Relationship Building:

      • Build and maintain relationships with vendors, stakeholders across the industry, and internal teams.

      • Collaborate with product marketing and communications teams on call for proposals/speaking submissions and brand standards for proprietary events.

    • Post-Event Analysis and Reporting:

      • Conduct retrospectives and recaps post-event to analyze event performance and provide recommendations for future events.

      • Measure pipeline and revenue contribution for Tier 1 events and report findings to the executive team.

    • Process Improvement and Standardization:

      • Develop and implement new standard operating procedures for internal stakeholders and events agency for Tier 1 events.

      • Manage SWAG inventory and AWS partnership event management as a global Tier 1 partner.

      • Proactively explore emerging techniques, trends, innovations, and creative experiential solutions and guide HackerOne on how/where these should be implemented to increase the impact of our in-person events.

    Minimum Qualifications  

    • 4+ years of relevant corporate event management experience in the B2B technology industry.

    • Proficient in orchestrating both third-party trade shows and bespoke company events, including user conferences.

    • Meticulous attention to detail

    • Exudes confidence and excels in rallying teams towards common goals.

    • Demonstrated expertise in budget management and adept at constructing and overseeing budgets of up to $1M.

    • Experience managing multiple agencies and projects concurrently.

    • Intermediate to expert experience with major marketing tech tools such as Asana, Salesforce, etc., and event technology tools like Zoom events, Hopin, and Swoogo.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to get buy-in at all levels.

    Position Summary

    • Draft and negotiate a high volume of SaaS agreements, distribution agreements, reseller agreements, data processing agreements, NDAs, and other ancillary documents relating to HackerOne’s products and services.

    • Review product and commercial matters, including vendor and partnership agreements, go-to-market enablement, and other matters as they arise.

    • Advise on corporate governance matters, audits, annual report filings, and other corporate transactions. 

    • Work cross-functionally on a variety of legal matters to support business development and innovation across markets.

    • Contribute positively to the legal team and to the company.

    • Provide clear and pragmatic legal advice to non-lawyers on a mix of commercial and corporate matters.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Graduate of an ABA-accredited law school (JD) and bar admission in good standing in your practice jurisdiction.

    • 5 years of legal experience at a law firm or in-house, including transactional experience and ideally with international exposure.

    • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects with competing priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to change within a rapidly growing company.

    As a Software Engineer III at HackerOne, you will participate in a new, ambitious project and drive architectural discussions and decisions. You will be part of the Security Talent Management Squad, a team responsible for building and maintaining products like Hacktivity, Opportunity Discovery and many more. You will create a real impact by improving hacker-facing features, APIs and automation.

    What You Will Do

    • Your first month will be spent getting to know our company and your fellow HackerOnies through our well-organized and fun onboarding process called H.A.T.C.H. You will be setting up your development environment, getting a feel for our engineering processes, and embarking on a journey to fully understand the domain you will be working with.

    • By day 30 you will have met most of your fellow Engineering HackerOnies, you will have paired with other Software Engineers, you will have a strong feel for our codebases and Security Talent Management products and will be prepared to start hands-on coding.

    • By day 60 you’ll be involved in building a meaningful part of one of the projects and you will have become more connected with our community and various stakeholders.

    This role reports directly to the VP of Growth Marketing and is located remotely in the United States.

    What You Will Do

    • Develop and execute comprehensive regional marketing plans to drive awareness, engagement, and demand generation in North America, aligning with overall business objectives and marketing strategies.

    • Lead the planning, execution, and post-event analysis of regional events and conferences, including industry tradeshows, customer conferences, and virtual events, to maximize brand exposure, lead generation, and customer retention.

    • Guide and inspire a team comprising of field marketing, customer marketing, and events, fostering their growth and success through exemplary leadership that embodies our core values.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Product Marketing, and Customer Success, to ensure alignment and integration of regional marketing initiatives with broader company initiatives and goals.

    • Lead the Customer Marketing program to develop and implement strategies for customer advocacy, reference programs, and customer engagement activities, leveraging customer insights and feedback to drive loyalty and retention.

    • Manage regional marketing budgets, track expenses, and evaluate ROI to optimize resource allocation and maximize marketing impact.

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, vendors, and industry influencers, to support marketing objectives and enhance HackerOne's presence in the market.

    • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging marketing technologies to identify new opportunities and best practices for continuous improvement and innovation.

    Minimum Qualifications  

    • 7+ years of marketing experience, with a focus on regional or field marketing in the technology or cybersecurity industry

    • Proven track record of planning and executing demand generations; including, regional marketing campaigns and events that drive brand awareness, lead generation, and revenue growth

    • 2+ years of management experience

    • Experience owning a comprehensive marketing budget 

    • Track record of owning and optimizing customer up-sell/cross-sell campaigns

    • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality results on time and within budget

    • Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to decision-making and problem-solving, leveraging analytics and KPIs to measure performance and drive continuous improvement

    • Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and a willingness to challenge the status quo to achieve marketing objectives and business goals

    • Ability to travel as needed for events, customer meetings, and other business-related activities (estimated travel up to 25%)

    What You Will Do

    • Evaluate assigned vulnerability reports submitted by hackers to determine the validity, risk and severity to HackerOne customers

    • Collaborate with hackers to address missing information from reports as well as educate the HackerOne community members when reports are invalid

    • Compose a technical summary for each valid report that includes clear and concise details regarding the impact, steps to reproduce and remediation advice

    • Ensure clear and efficient communication between hackers and customers

    • Proactively identify and solve issues, as well as accept and quickly respond to delegated work; as we are distributed, being able to win as a team to solve problems is critical to our success

    Minimum Qualifications  

    • Proven experience with vulnerability disclosure and bug bounty (experience managing a bug bounty program is a plus but not required)

    • Strong technical knowledge of OWASP top 10

    • Comfortable using security testing tools including Burpsuite 

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    • Experience using frameworks such as CVSS

    • Self-motivated and able to manage your time and energy output while maintaining a consistent and sustainable operational rhythm

    • English fluency
